The Lincoln® Flextec® 500X/ DLF™ 82 Ready-Pak® is a complete 500 amp multi-process welder and digital pulsed MIG wire feeder package. The system is capable of Pulsed MIG, Flux-cored, DC TIG and Stick welding. Weld modes for carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and metalcore electrodes are included with the Flextec 500X power source. The DLF™ (Digital Lincoln Feeder) 82 wire feeder comes complete with Maxtrac® 2-roll wire drive system, wire reel stand and Magnum® PRO Curve™ 350 amp MIG gun.

The Flextex 500X welding power source features Built-in CrossLinc® technology, which means that the Flextec 500X communicates with an OPTIONAL CrossLinc remote or Lincoln X Series voltage-sensing wire feeder directly through your welding leads. Full remote amperage and voltage control is achieved without the use of a separate remote-control cable. Standard voltage sensing wire feeders may also be used, but CrossLinc remote control functionality will be disabled. For in-shop welding applications, the Flextec 500X also supports Lincoln 14-pin (analog) and 5-pin (digital) wire feeders through amphenol receptacles on the front panel.

The Flextec 500X is built to be a rugged performer on the harshest job sites. It is rated IP23 for welding in outdoor weather conditions. The 500X also comes with Lincoln’s Desert Duty® certification, meaning it can keep welding in temperatures up to 131 degrees F. Heavy duty alloy carrying handles, powder-coated aluminum case and shock absorbing rubber feet make this an impact resistant power source that will stand up to abuse.

The Flextec 500X operates on 380-575 volt, three-phase input power and comes with Lincoln’s three-year warranty.
